NFDIxCS at IDC 2023: Co-Organization and Community Engagement in Venice
From 2–6 October 2023, NFDIxCS actively contributes to IDC 2023 in Venice as co-organizer and key partner, fostering exchange between computer science, human–computer interaction, and research data management communities.

IDC 2023 takes place from 2–6 October 2023 on the island of San Servolo and follows a single-track conference format combining talks, workshops, poster sessions, and keynote contributions. The event provides an international forum for scholarly exchange in the field of human–computer interaction.
Within this framework, the NFDIxCS consortium plays an active and visible role as co-organizer and institutional partner. Under the thematic framing “NFDIxCS meets Human–Computer Interaction,” the consortium contributes to the conceptual design of the programme and supports dedicated exchange formats addressing questions of research data management in computer science.
Furthermore, the costs of the 2023 edition are covered by the NFDIxCS consortium, underlining its strong institutional commitment and strategic engagement. Through this involvement, NFDIxCS strengthens its international visibility, fosters dialogue with the HCI community, and advances the integration of sustainable research data practices into disciplinary contexts.
