Description
Task Area I2 ensures reliable access to digital resources via PIDs. ORCIDs serve authors, while DOIs provide stable references for published works, supplemented by ePIC PIDs for detailed data tracking. Tasks include adapting PID services and workflows, integrating PIDs early, converting to DOIs upon publication, training and consulting on embedding PIDs into research processes, developing a data type registry for metadata schemas, and collaborating with other NFDI consortia like Base4NFDI.
