RDMC Hackathon in Dresden
The NFDIxCS RDMC hackathon brought service developers together to explore connections and identify concrete opportunities for integration.
An internal hackathon organized by the NFDIxCS project took place ahead of the NFDIxCS plenary meeting, bringing together developers of different services to explore the connections across these different services.
Over the course of a focused half-day session, the service owners presented to each other the current state of their development. Participants then engaged in collaborative discussions to identify integration possibilities where these services could intersect and complement one another.
Despite its compact timeframe, the hackathon proved highly productive. The concentrated format encouraged efficient idea-sharing and sparked concrete integration pathways that might otherwise have remained undiscovered. By combining presentations with interactive dialogue, the event fostered cross-service awareness and laid groundwork for future collaborative development within the NFDIxCS ecosystem.
