NFDIxCS on tour at KI2026
From research data management to robotics: NFDIxCS joined KI2026 in Bremen to connect with the AI community and share insights into current work at the intersection of AI and research data.
Last week Patrick Brunner and Gereon Rahnfeld represented NFDIxCS at KI2026, the 49th German Conference on Artificial Intelligence organized by the Fachbereich Künstliche Intelligenz der Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI-SIG AI).
Apart from setting up a NFDIxCS booth, where participants of the conference learned more about the project and discussed the potential of a Research Data Management Container (RDMC) for the field of AI, Patrick and Gereon also presented the recently published whitepaper “AI in Research Data Management” at a poster session that took part during a boat trip on the Weser.
Further highlights included a guided tour of the Robotics Innovation Center at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) as well as the Industry Session at the Chamber of Commerce.
