NFDIxCS contributes to the 44th FBTI Annual Conference in Stuttgart

The 44th Annual Conference of the Fachbereichstag Informatik (FBTI) took place at Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences from 26–28 October. The programme addressed various stages of a computer science career, including the role of universities of applied sciences (HaW) and the development of their degree programmes.

Research data management was a recurring topic throughout the conference. NFDIxCS was represented by its spokesperson, Prof. Dr. Michael Goedicke, who presented the current status of NFDIxCS and outlined perspectives for research data management in computer science in his lecture “NFDIxCS: Status and perspectives for research data management in computer science.” The interest from participants reflected the continued relevance of this subject for the community.
