NFDI Strategy Committees Workshop in Berlin
On 20–21 October 2026, NFDI’s two strategy committees met at the Einstein Center Digital Futures to work on the association’s current strategy and finalise the draft for 2027/2028.
Hosted by NFDIxCS and the German Informatics Society (GI), the workshop brought together members of NFDI’s Scientific Senate and Consortia Assembly in Berlin.
Participants reviewed how the association’s ongoing strategy for 2025/2026 is being translated into concrete actions. They also finalised the draft strategy for 2027/2028, incorporating feedback from the association’s bodies and divisions, as well as Base4NFDI. The draft still requires formal adoption by the Scientific Senate.
We were pleased to support the workshop as hosts. Many thanks to the Einstein Center Digital Futures for providing the venue, and to the NFDI team for the collaboration!
