SUMMARY:Research Data Management in Modelling
DESCRIPTION:The demand increases to substantiate the claims made in the sci
 entific processes in the realm of modeling in all areas of computer science
 . Thus, publications, funding proposals etc. require more often that empiri
 cal data (if available) along with the related context of experiments and t
 he artifacts in terms of descriptions, software and other tools will be par
 t of the publication or proposed project as well. Infrastructure will be pr
 ovided to store and make available this kind of research data according to 
 the FAIR – principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) as pa
 rt of the National Research Data Infrastructure. With this workshop, the co
 nsortium NFIDxCS aims at collecting requirements as well as existing approa
 ches to build such an infrastructure with a special focus on modeling issue
 s.\n\nThe key questions for research in modeling are manifold. The aim of t
 he workshop is to connect interested individuals who are willing to contrib
 ute here. The outcome shall be a manifesto on the importance of research da
 ta management for modeling (in computer science) as well as a discussion of
  key challenges in this context.  \n\nThis will be a working workshop. Thus
 , we request contributions on the topic of this workshop in the form of ext
 ended abstracts beforehand but will be open to any form of contributions on
  short notice as well. Based on these presentations and facilitating the jo
 int forces of participants on-site, the manifesto will be created. This cor
