RDMxSE 2027: 3rd Working Workshop on Research Data Management for and in Software Engineering (RDMxSE)
On 23 February 2027, the RDMxSE working workshop returns to the SE 2027 conference in Dortmund to discuss research data and research software in software engineering, including the services NFDIxCS offers for this field.
Description
Research data, research software and the way both are managed are receiving growing attention. This is especially true for Research Software Engineering and Software Engineering Research, two fields that produce a great deal of research software and still leave many questions open.
The 3rd Working Workshop on Research Data Management for and in Software Engineering (RDMxSE) brings together people from research and industry once again. Together we look at current developments, approaches and expectations in this area, including the services NFDIxCS provides for it, and discuss where the community wants to go next.
The workshop takes place on 23 February 2027 as part of SE 2027, the software engineering conference of the Gesellschaft für Informatik, hosted by TU Dortmund.
Two days, two workshops
RDMxSE is paired with the 3rd Workshop on Meta Research and Knowledge Transfer in Software Engineering (SE-MeReTra) the day before. SE-MeReTra looks at the quality, reproducibility and impact of software engineering research and at knowledge transfer between academia, industry and public administration. It is organised by the German Informatic Society's working group on Meta-Research in Software Engineering and Knowledge Transfer in cooperation with NFDIxCS.
