SUMMARY:2nd Working Workshop on Research Data Management  in Modelling in C
 omputer Science
DESCRIPTION:The demand increases to substantiate the claims made in the sci
 entific processes in the realm of modeling in all areas of computer science
 . Thus, publications, funding proposals etc. require more often that empiri
 cal data (if available) and the related context of experiments and the arti
 facts in terms of descriptions, software and other tools will be part of th
 e publication / proposed project as well. Infrastructure will be provided t
 o store and make available this kind of research data according to the FAIR
  – principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) as part of th
 e NFDI - initiative. The consortium NFIDxCS started working to provide syst
 ematic and structured processes to obtain the information to build an infra
 structure to handle research data. Handling research data is an essential p
 art of many projects. Large research projects must always present a plan fo
 r how they will handle research data. The workshop therefore provides a bas
 is for discussing systematic approaches to dealing with research data.\n\nT
 he key questions for research in modeling are manifold and the aim of the w
 orkshop is to collect interested individuals who are willing to contribute 
 to handling research data management. Related topics of the workshop are (b
 ut are not limited to):\n\n 	Nature and profile of scientific processes in 
 modeling research (in computer science) 	Nature of empirical data in modeli
 ng research 	Nature of artifacts in modeling research (e.g., formal languag
 es, tools, software) 	Elements of types of related meta data 	Additional fa
 ctors and characteristics which need to be addressed (e.g. privacy) 	Availa
 ble repositories 	Community building aspects \n\nThe workshop will be part

 , we request contributions in form of extended abstracts (up to 3 pages), w
 hich will be published in the Digital Library of the GI (https://dl.gi.de/)
 :\n\n 	Research Talk Proposal (extended abstract of up to 2 pages): Proposa
 ls for scientific talks. Eligible are proposal submissions that are based o
 n published or accepted papers from international conferences or journals. 
 	Research Direction Proposals (extended abstract of up to 3 pages): Proposa
 ls for talks that motivate a research direction, outline the research gaps 
 to address, and carve out major challenges. These talks shall serve as a st
 imulus for discussions as part of a dedicated slot in the workshop program.

 nagement in modelling research (in Computer Science). This means this will 
 be the result of the workshop and we envisage that the manifesto with the c
 ollection of the extended abstracts will published after the workshop on th
